Allison Leedahl Counselling

About Allison, BSW, RSW
With years of experience as a Registered Social Worker, Allison has dedicated her career to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life's most challenging moments, bringing both clinical expertise and genuine care to her practice. With a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina and currently completing her Master of Social Work at the same institution (expected completion in Spring 2026), she believes that healing occurs in a space where clients feel truly seen and supported.
In sessions, she may draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), tailoring them to meet the needs of each person's specific needs and goals.

SERVICES
Allison supports adults (18+) by helping navigate life's challenges. She offers individual counselling in the following areas:

Land Acknowledgement & Commitment to Reconciliation
Allison acknowledges that she lives and works on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, and Dene Nations, and the homeland of the Métis people. This region—central Saskatchewan—is rich with history, culture, and resilience.
She recognizes the privilege of residing on this land and is committed to a lifelong journey of learning and unlearning in the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation. It is her honour to live here, learn here, and raise her family here—on land shaped by deep sacrifice and enduring strength.
With this privilege comes a lifelong responsibility: to engage meaningfully in reconciliation, to act with integrity, and to do better than many who have come before. Allison is committed to using her voice to uplift those who have been silenced for too long and to walk alongside Indigenous communities with humility, respect, and care.
